The Indiana Chamber Foundation and the Indy Chamber are pleased to announce the availability of funding to support non-profit organizations dedicated to tobacco cessation. This RFP aims to identify and support initiatives that effectively address this critical public health issue through innovative programs and community engagement. Smoking is a leading cause of preventable disease and death. Effective tobacco cessation programs can significantly improve public health outcomes. By providing the necessary resources and support, we aim to help individuals quit smoking and lead healthier lives.

The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from non-profit organizations that:

– Implement innovative tobacco cessation programs.

– Provide educational resources and interventions focused on tobacco use prevention and cessation.

– Promote early intervention and empower individuals with knowledge and skills to quit smoking.

Eligible organizations must:

– Be a registered non-profit entity.

– Demonstrate a history of successful program implementation in tobacco cessation.

– Have the capacity to measure and report on program outcomes.

Selected organizations will be expected to:

– Develop and implement a comprehensive tobacco cessation program.

– Conduct community outreach and education to raise awareness about the risks of tobacco use.

– Measure program impact through data collection and analysis.

 Funding and Duration:

– Grants will be awarded in amounts ranging from $1500 to $10,000 for a period of 6 months. Funding may be used for program development, implementation, staffing, materials, and other direct costs associated with the proposed initiative.
