Chelsie Jaramillo is the new Member Relations Manager for the Wellness Council of Indiana. She comes to us from Purdue University Extension where she was employed as a Community Wellness Coordinator. Chelsie worked directly with Indiana communities and organizations to help create a sustainable culture of health. She has hands-on experience working with organizations to update and implement policy change, strategic planning and systemic change efforts, and building a health-focused environment.
Chelsie also has experience in event planning, website building, communication strategy building, grant writing, and more. She owns her own local baking/catering business and is an active member of many local community boards and organizations. Her education background consists of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Political Science and Public Administration, both from Ball State University.
Born and raised in Indiana, Chelsie and her family reside in Anderson, Madison County, IN. She lives in a beautiful home that she and her husband renovated. She enjoys time with her husband, three children, and two cats. Her hobbies include camping, fishing, kayaking, and cooking. She enjoys being very active and being involved with her local community. “I am excited to be the new Member Relations Manager for the Wellness Council of Indiana. I look forward to helping the Wellness Council of Indiana grow in efforts to improve the quality of life for Indiana residents.”
