AchieveWELL is the Wellness Council of Indiana’s workplace wellness assessment, evaluation and recognition program. It meets organizations where they are and guides them to the next level of well-being by using tools, templates and personal coaching to help deliver comprehensive and consistent workplace well-being efforts.
AchieveWELL is not a contest, ranking, judgment or replacement of your wellness program. It is a strategic process intended to provide a roadmap to sustainable well-being efforts. Whether your organization is just beginning its well-being journey or you have already achieved high-level well-being, AchieveWELL provides support and recognition to help you grow.

IU Health began investing in wellness in 2001 with the creation of Healthy Results, a program that consisted of one health coach and an HRA. It has significantly evolved since that time, and we now have a full team of 18 wellness experts delivering programming that touches all dimensions of well-being. We offer a variety of digital, telephonic and in-person options so team members can carve out their own path to wellness, and we incentivize participation regardless of health plan enrollment. Healthy Results is embedded into the fabric of our benefits design and this alignment leads to greater participation. We’ve recently been focusing on driving deeper participation as our data shows participation in five or more programs leads to better long-term outcomes. Our most popular programs include free biometric screenings, system-wide wellness challenges and our health coaching/condition management program. There truly is something for everyone.

Throughout its campus, spaces and programs were intentionally created to focus on healthy lifestyles with health care employees’ needs in mind. The innovative Lifestyle Health & Wellness Center, fitness studio and respite areas foster employee well-being through evidence-based programming. Eskenazi Health emphasizes activity, nutrition, stress management, connections, sleep, pet therapy and music therapy to develop a culture of healthy living. The multidisciplinary Wellness team supports all employees and expands efforts with the use of virtual programming and apps to be inclusive of all employees. Leadership focuses on learning best practices from leading organizations such as the Wellness Council of Indiana to promote employee well-being now and into the future.
