According to the Gallup-Healthways 2014 Obesity Rankings released this morning, Indiana has dropped in the rankings. In 2013, Indiana was 39th and in 2014, we are 43rd. There must be a focus on making Indiana a healthier place to live if we want to see the Hoosier state continue to be a great place to do business. For a business to thrive, they require employees who are capable of coming to work everyday and be both mentally and physically ready to produce! Indiana’s ranking for these types of workers is lagging a great deal and we must put in the effort to increase our focus on this critical economic development strategy.
