The COVID Stops Here campaign recognizes Indiana workplaces that have achieved widespread vaccination. The Indiana Chamber and the Wellness Council of Indiana are celebrating employers that are leading the fight against this virus. Additionally, the are encouraging more Hoosier workplaces to join their ranks. As we urgently work to stop the spread of coronavirus — including the dangerous new Delta variant — employers are playing a very important role. U.S. Drug Overdose Deaths Rise 30% During Pandemic

Guidance for Safer Workplace Returns

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that the Delta variant, a more transmissible and possibly more dangerous strain of COVID-19, now makes up more than half of all new infections in the United States. According to CDC, people who are fully vaccinated have a high degree of protection against COVID-19, including against the Delta variant. Federal health officials warn that the variant poses a 'significant threat' to unvaccinated people, especially in areas of the country where vaccination rates are low.
