Madie Newman, coordinator for the Wellness Council’s Indiana Healthy Community (IHC) initiative, will give insights to what the program is, how your community can get involved and what communities around the state are doing to improve their community health and well-being ranks.
Madie Newman joined the Wellness Council team as the Indiana Healthy Communities program coordinator. In this role, she assists groups across Indiana in improving outcomes to create more livable and economically viable communities. She has years of experience working with businesses and community groups to align goals and improve community outcomes.
Madie earned her bachelor’s degree in public health from Indiana University and her master’s degree in environmental and occupational health from CU on the Anschutz Medical Campus.
